Let’s check out MARVEL Super War January 16th 2020 Update Patch Notes. This update sees new hero Doctor Strange, Battle Pass 001 and Ranked Match Season 1 arrives.
NEW SEASON BEGINS
Season 1 will begin after maintenance on January 16th, 2020.
At the start of Season 1, the initial tier for all Watchers will be based on your final tier at the end of Season 0 and will be inherited accordingly.
At the start of Season 1, Watchers will receive an Avatar Frame and Crystals according to their highest tier in Season 0. To obtain the Supreme Legendary Master avatar frame, you must reach Supreme Legendary Master tier by the end of the season.
Watchers who win 10 Ranked Game matches and reach the Immortal Gold tier during Season 1 will receive Mister Fantastic's exclusive Season 1 skin: Creator.
NetEase Games has added tier rewards in Season 1. Watchers attaining a new tier for the first time will receive Crystals.
FREE HERO ROTATION UPDATED
This week's free hero rotation has been updated! Beginning January 16th, 2020 (Thursday) at 5:00AM, a new rotation of heroes will be available to play in 5v5 battles: The Thing, Blade, Quicksilver, Cloak & Dagger, Magneto, War Machine, Deadpool, Human Torch. Heroes who are free for the long term are: Storm and Rocket Raccoon.
BATTLE PASS 001: HERO ASSEMBLY
Battle Pass 001: Hero Assembly has been initiated!
Complete quests to increase your assembly level and unlock supply rewards! Spend 428 Star Credits to unlock access to the Battle Pass' special supplies and immediately claim special supplies according to your current level.
Current supply rewards include Magneto's epic skin: Galactic Gravity, Home Beacon - Wakanda, Broadcast Screen - Wakanda, and other rare items. Spend 798 Star Credits to unlock access to special supplies and receive the Battle Pass 001 avatar frame while your assembly level shoots up to level 20!
NEW HERO DOCTOR STRANGE
Doctor Strange is a ranged energy hero with a mastery of the mystic arts. With his ancient magic, he can conjure an Inter-Dimensional Portal, allowing him to deal super long-distance attacks and to position himself in any location. He also wields the power to turn back time for himself or an enemy.
Natural Passive: Cloak of Levitation
Passive: If Doctor Strange's HP is lower than 35%, each time he receives damage that is higher than 5% of his max HP, the Cloak of Levitation will drag Doctor Strange in the direction of the joystick to evade and he becomes immune to all damage. This status lasts 4 seconds.
Ability 1: Time Manipulation
Doctor Strange uses the Time Stone on a specified hero and records their current position and HP. If the target is a friendly hero, time is reversed after a brief delay and the target is returned to their recorded position and HP. If the target is an enemy hero, time is reversed quicker and their HP is reduced by 50%.
KO'd heroes will not trigger this effect.
Ability 2: Bolts of Balthakk
Doctor Strange unleashes the Bolts of Balthakk in a specified direction, where they ricochet off of the ground once and deal one-time energy damage to enemies in their path. When the bolts hit an obstacle or passes through an Inter-Dimensional Portal, they ricochet one additional time and deal one-time energy damage to enemies hit in their path.
Ability 3: Inter-Dimensional Portal
Doctor Strange conjures and releases amystic orb of power in a specified direction, dealing energy damage to enemies in its path. Once the orb hits an enemy hero or reaches its furthest distance, it becomes a large formation and calls forth a beam that continuously attacks enemies within the formation, dealing energy damage every 0.4 seconds for 5 seconds.
Ultimate Ability: Sorcerer Supreme
Doctor Strange conjures a formation to release an orb in the specified direction, dealing energy damage to enemies in its path. Once the orb hits an enemy hero or reaches its farthest distance, it becomes a large formation and calls forth a beam that continuously attacks enemies within the formation, dealing energy damage every 0.4 seconds for 2 seconds.
All Doctor Strange data has been collected. He will be joining you all in battle this week, and his Illuminati skin will be added to the Shop.
